Crooks July 2005 Newsletter
Happy
Summer!
Many
thanks to those of you who came to my Western Spring Brides
anthology booksignings. As always, I so appreciate your time
in stopping by.
Big
hugs go out to Phyllis and Jeanette Hilton, JoAnn Meyer, and
Joan Hernandez (have I forgotten anyone?)! These ladies have
never missed any of my Omaha signings, and always, always buy
multiple copies of my books for their friends and family. I'm
humbled and awed by your loyalty and support.
I'm
neck-deep in my deadline for the next book, a full-length western
historical due out mid-2006. No title yet, but the story is
about a female outlaw gone respectable until her past sins (namely,
buried loot!) come back to haunt her, and the bounty hunter
who could save her-or destroy her.
Have
a safe summer, friends!
Pam

A
super simple recipe I'm passing along. Believe it or not, my
local grocery store was handing out samples of these, and I
fell in love with them, right there in the produce section.
Fresh
Apricot Bites
4
oz. fat-free cream cheese, softened
12 fresh apricots, halved, pits removed
½ cup pistachios, chopped
Stir
cream cheese until smooth; pipe or spoon into apricot halves.
Sprinkle tops with pistachios.
Serve
as an appetizer, snack or dessert.
